The commercial department of Southern Lifestyle Properties is managed by C.E.O. of the company, David Brown.
David began his commercial real estate career on Hilton Head Island representing the Sea Pines Company.
Prior to entering the real estate business, he founded over a dozen companies, both nationally and internationally.
He honed his skills as a business consultant and contract negotiator and has held various patents, including being the innovator of the Flurry (now known as the McDonald's McFlurry).
Over his business career Brown has negotiated agreements with Nabisco, Nestle, McDonalds, TCBY, Mars Candy, Vita-Mix, Taylor Freezer and many other nationally and internationally known brands. In 2004 he consulted for Starbuck’s Coffee at their Seattle headquarters.
A partial list of real estate sales and/or lease of properties include: Wal-Mart, Wendy's, Jim 'n Nick's, Zaxby's, Walgreens, Sea Pines Center Plaza, Wexford Plaza, numerous investment properties and retail businesses.
Most recently, David was instrumental in bringing Be Green Packaging to South Carolina and selling them a 90,000 sq ft plant in Ridgeland. During this process, he was able to work closely with the Lowcountry Economic Developement Network and the State of South Carolina to negotiate various incentives to the benefit of Be Green.
Brown is a fair but tough negotiator who uses his skills to represent Southern Lifestyle Properties clients. His passion lies in putting together deals for commercial and residential properties for buyers and sellers, helping to maximize their profits and minimize their frustrations.
